Kulm promoted at the Altausseer fair
„Ziehhhhhh“ ist not only shouted at the Kulm, when the best ski flyers of the world cross the bakken, but was also heard at the rope pulling competition at the fair in Altaussee this year.
129 days before the World Championships at the Kulm several teams of four met the challenge and pulled their tickets for the Ski Flying World Championships. Kulm boss Hubert Neuper was extremely pleased: “The event here has a big tradition and has been a crowd puller for ages, as well as the Kulm. It is fantastic to see that our region with its events keeps inspiring thousands of people again and again.“
.Alterations on the Kulm promise safer flights
There are still 132 days to the Ski Flying World Championships at the Kulm in January 2016. Alterations at the front end have already started. Hubert Neuper, boss of the Kulm visited the Austrian Team in Vienna to inform the Team Captain Heinz Kuttin in person about the changes at the Kulm. „It extremely motivates us, if hosts listen to us athlets and try to make our flights safer“, explains Georg Schlierenzauer, who was the first to try the new jumping hill on the Kulm in 2015.
Special train to the Kulm
Being astonished instead of being in a jam. If you want to take part in the Ski Flying World Championships stress-free, take the special train of the ÖBB, which stops directly at the jumping hill. That´s the way to bring the fascination of the Kulm onto the tracks.
Thousands of fans will turn the Kulm again into an ubelieveable site, when Schlierenzauer and others fight fort he medals. Whoever would like to travel to and from the Kulm without traffic jams, despite of thousands of cheering people, should take the special train of the ÖBB to the event.
On Saturday, January 16th 2016 the special trains of the ÖBB leave in Graz, Linz and Vienna and on Sunday, January 17th 2016 the trains leave from Graz and Linz. They take you straight to the Kulm in Styria.
