The Countdown to the Ski Flying World Championships is underway

Nacht-des-SportsIn 77 days, Kulm/Salzkammergut will kick off the FIS Ski Flying World Championships in 2016. The anticipation for the winter sports calendar in Austria is omnipresent. “The Kulm stands for enthusiasm, emotion, and athletic performance. The world cup is an exciting ski jumping festival,” said Organization Committee President Hubert Neuper. During the gala party, Austrian ski legends cannot keep their excitement for Kulm a secret. The three previous world record holders—Reinhard Bachler (1967/154 meters), Toni Innauer (1976/176 meters), and Andreas Goldberger (2000/225 meters), slipped into their original jumpsuits of the olden days. They had a unique legend photo, showing a taste of great moments on Kulm.

On this occasion, the Kulm team would like to thank once again the City Museum Murau, the Winter Sports Museum Mürzzuschlag, the Jenbacher Museum, and the Winter Sports Museum Vordernberg for their support.
