17th GOFUS Golf tournament at Schloss Pichlarn

Not long ago the GOFUS Golf tournament took place on the golf course at Schloss Pichlarn. GOFUS focuses on creating sports fields and areas for deprived children and adolescents and supports their cause. Various celebrities and famous sportsmen took part in the charity event at Schloss Pichlarn in Irdning and the Kulm team provided an exhibit for the auction at that event. In addition to that it was possible to win VIP tickets for the World Chanpionships of ski flying at the “longest drive contest“ on the day of the tournament. The aim of the contest was to beat the world record in ski flying, which was 251,5m. After Schladming this was the second destination of that Challenge.
.52.000 daffodils for the Kulm

228 days before the World Championships the Kulm starts to bloom. As a symbol for the region and its people in Upper Styria the Kulm was proudly presented at the 56. Narzissenfest in Bad Aussee. Hubert Neuper, boss of the Kulm confirms: “Since the Narzissenfest as well as the Kulm inspire thousands of people, we are happy to be part of the that wonderful festival.“
It took Hubert Neuper, who was in charge and his team more than 160 hours to create the figure of a ski flying athlete, which was made of 52.000 daffodils. “The Narzissenfest is part of the region as well as the ski flying on the Kulm. It is fascinating to see how much people love to work for that event. It is a festival from people for people. Therefore we take part in that colourful festival filled with enthusiasm.“
